Intense conversations this morning, my last full day of this visit to Scotland. As I toyed with extending my trip and realized that doing so wasn't as feasible this time as it was the last, my head ranged all over with what we had accomplished in this three weeks.
One of the biggest fascinations was in realizing that through the still - miraculous - to me gift of this Apple technology, Alix and I had even met, connecting so deeply through the iChat phenomenon that she felt like my dear friend before I actually ever met her in person.
The amazing, yet now "normal" gift of modern flight made my coming to Scotland possible. It's another technological marvel that we take so for granted, yet without it we never would have considered traversing what would otherwise be such a huge distance .
Our perceived differences in locations, society, upbringing, accents, all increasingly fell away as we discovered shared passions, humour, goals and an eerily similar ideology that superseded all of the little contrasts in our lives. It had begun online and accelerated as we shared 'real-time' experiences.... yet those on line were equally intense! We marvel at the equally miraculous gift of connecting at all, 3333 miles apart. We love comparing what differences in words and habits we do have and enjoying our similarities more each day.
It consistently has us shaking our heads at the kismet of it all, and wanting everyone to share in how absolutely amazing and special an adventure it continues to be.
A most potent piece of this visit was our time in Belfast. It made a huge impression on all of us for many reasons. Symbols everywhere of of the past unrest were poignant reminders of how important it is for us all to see more of our similarities. I am haunted by the visuals of pried - open rusty walls, that had shut whole neighborhoods in tightly against the night. We want to be a part of fostering understanding and ensuring they are not needed again.... anywhere.
We want to see our lives as joined rather than different and apart. We communicate intensely, honestly and feel it is the way to heal breaches. Better yet, it helps to avoid the misunderstandings and life-spaces that allow them in to start with.
After our time in Belfast, we feel as though we want to spread the intense energy and potential of this lovely technological path for inter-relating and joining even more, and to more and more people. iChatting is so easy with the Mac and really very accessible for people of all ages, nationalities, and ideologies.We watch in wonder as our kids constantly text message to connect... yet here is an expanded method that can reach so far into connecting us globally on a one- to -one, very personal level. It's potential hasn't even been touched.
The human development and potential movement is our joint love. There is immense, inherently felt joy for us, in knowing that we can use technology to help bring change not only to businesses but on an intensely personal level to the people that businesses are made up of.
We can address and at least start to lessen what is truly an illusion that does not serve us well... feelings of distance, fear and alienation. Loneliness for ones we love and those we have yet to meet can fade into the warm energy of close interactions though hundreds of miles apart physically.
The ability to connect in this way can help emotions of unrest blend into the sweet familiarity bred of visually sharing life's day to day little intimacies. Enjoying a meal via online video-chat can allow us to see our similarities and common humanity.... even comparing the differences in what we are eating becomes a joy and thing of wonder... and often laughter! We want to be apart of not only keeping the walls open that enclosed parts of Belfast, but to help ensure they are never needed anywhere, one person at a time.
We know we are sounding a bit like zealots or missionaries... Connecting people is indeed our passion and mission, so yes, I/we are off to share more laughter, stories, and experiences of the delights these wonderful computers allow into our reality.

A sense of mission is the life energy of our work. As we have gotten to know each other, both of us have discovered that separately and together we have often been described as very intense. We are!
We have traveled to this place of incredible connecting... yet so much of that separate time involved traversing such similar roads that we are endlessly amazed as we compare life experiences. We consistently discuss our life's paths and the sense of purpose that imbues so much of our reality.
As we travel from this place of connection, we repeatedly find more and more that reinforces our sense of wonder and discovery and knowledge that we are on the 'right' path... that wonderful feeling in your heart and belly that yells 'YES"... that fills you with assurance and confidence and great joy and excitement.
When we meet more and more people, we expand our personal and professional community. As we present what we are working on, we feel your excitement join with ours, magnifying, spreading, and being reinforced by a great deal of wonderful input and support.
Using the gift of the amazing technology we have access to, helps us to see, and connect very intimately with all of you. Our blog is our favourite way of communicating with you.. it adds an extra element of sharp focus and response as we share our travels and experiences. It takes our personal experiences and allows us to connect with universal similarities between people, no matter their nationality or location.
Please know we are eager to hear from you and hear your feelings, thoughts. philosophy and suggestions, as we blend our work and our joy. Our mission is to make congruent the many facets of our lives, and to build happiness into every part of our separate and combined realities. You are a very basic and important part of that process.

Yesterday I spent a good deal of time with a wonderful gentleman and his wife, discussing the prospect of us working together to design a training programme for his company. We were talking about the imminent retirement of a person who has been a senior member of his staff.
As we spoke, it felt so good to me to feel his caring and concern for the people he worked with, as they went through this major time of transition.
His determination to consider and explore our joint philosophy, and some new training methods was exciting, and sparked us both, since our training methods are different than those he has implemented previously. He would now be working with people who are younger, and more original in their view of how the business could be run. My presentation focused on my belief that building a team of people who know, support, encourage and motivate each other is key to the growth of the company as well as each of the individuals involved. That balance furthers and supports everyone.
We all want to enjoy getting up in the morning, and anticipating our day. It seems to be elementary, and yet it eludes so many people.
Being able to learn skills that enhance our ability to get up enthused and eager to greet the work and the people with whom we work, makes such a huge difference in the lives of everyone involved.
Looking forward to what we are doing and with whom, enables everyone to prosper.
The ability to bring energy and joy into each part of our lives can truly expand us all. It trickles down to our co-workers, clients, and subsequently to so many people with whom we have come into contact.
Remember when you have walked into a room where two people are delighted and happy... you feel their happiness and carry that with you. You recognise how contagious that is. Similarly, having walked into a room where sad or negative energy was shared, you can feel the dankness and that too, sinks into you and colours your feelings.
We have chosen to live our lives by consistently implementing the principles of expanding our intention to live in happiness, co-operation, community and prosperity.
We believe it is not only possible but probable, when using the techniques that we study, and share, for that to be the ongoing reality of our lives and the lives of those we touch.
Bringing these ideas into the corporate world is always exciting. Sharing them with people as keen on creating that team and supportive community as this gentleman is, and giving them the tools to expand their personal and professional lives is our mission and our delight.

We are two women with a passion. We love people... we love life.. we love sharing the growth and knowledge that we have gathered and continue to gather with all of the speed and ability that we can muster.

Some of the techniques and information may be familiar to you, and perhaps some of it is incorporated within other disciplines and modalities that you already use. WONDERFUL! We hope to also offer new and different ideas, processes , support and knowledge through a variety of formats such as recordings, seminars and one to one coaching sessions.
